Camp Amenities

Amenities Provided…
Space for a tent to sleep in. You will need to provide dimension so we can make sure everyone fits in our little plot of land at Love Burn.
Shade Structures to relax under. Miami, even in February, can be quite warm during the day. If it rains it could be cool jacket weather. Plan for both. We will have a few structures we either rent or buy and re-sell for all of us to wait out the sun and the storms under.
Chairs to sit in. We are going to either purchase or rent some chairs to sit on
Tables to eat on. We will have some tables where people can eat and do arts and crafts.
Commons Lighting. We will have some lighting available in the common area.
Charging Station. We hope to have a charging station for people to charge their phones, but there’s no guarantee that this will be available at all times. We won’t be able to provide power for things like CPAP machines, etc.
Ice. Love Burn sells ice that you can purchase at the event with cash. You might be able to reserve it before you arrive as well. We will need an Ice Czar to manage ice for the coolers for the food we will be providing.
Some Food. We are hoping to be able to provide food for our camp. It will depend on how many people RSVP. We may need to charge camp dues to provide this as a service. Pick up some snacks that could provide calories in a pinch if you miss a meal.
Barbeque. We hope to cook food for camp mates. This will depend on how many people come.
Golf Cart Transport. We hope to have at least one golf cart rented for the event to help campers with mobility issues and to run errands. We’re hoping it will be gas powered, but it may need to be charged on our camp power. We will need a person to manage the transport and make sure it well cared for while we’re there.
Showers and Grey Water service. This event does have some showers and flushable toilets. They are often busy and have lines, so be prepared if you’d like a shower, want to brush your teeth with running water, or need to go to the bathroom.
Portos. These are the most common commodes at a burn. Carry extra toilet paper because it’s not always available in the portos. We also highly recommend bringing hand sanitizer. If you can afford a portable toto washlet/travel bidet, we highly recommend it as a camping and travel accessory.
Wash yer hands often to avoid getting sick!
Art. We will have a group art project that we can all create collaboratively.
Ritual. You will be surrounded by a number of practicing magickians (not the sleight-of-hand kind). We will be performing rituals throughout the event and you are welcome to participate in them with us.
FUN. This event is filled with all sorts of adventures, educational opportunities, and hijinks. We hope everyone will contribute to the fun.
