Camp Not-Amenities

Amenities Not Provided…
Water. (This may change.) We may need people to bring enough water for themselves for the entirety of the event as well as bringing enough to share. Daily water for men is about 15.5 cups and for women about 11.5 cups.
Cups, Plates, & Utensils. We want to minimize waste as much as possible. We will not be providing disposable cups, plates or utensils. Each camper will have to find ways to dispose of their waste after the burn.
Tents. You can either bring a tent on the plane or reserve one for rent to pick up when you arrive. We’re looking into where you can rent them.
Tent Lights. It gets dark at night. Bring a headlamp or other personal lights for yourself and inside your tent. Don’t forget batteries. People at burns often treat this as a fashion accessory.
Plugs & Electricity Outlets. This will not be available to any great extent for campers. We MAY have a charging station, but I can’t yet guarantee that will be available
Toilet Paper. There generally is toilet paper, but don’t count on it. Bring some with you when you go out. Its not always available. We highly recommend bringing a portable toto washlet/travel bidet, if you can swing it as well. Wash yer hands often to avoid getting sick!
Hand Sanitizer. Its important to be clean when you’re camping and when you use portos there isn’t always hand sanitizer. Bring extra.
Garbage Service. Pack it in, pack it out. Don’t leave your trash elsewhere as this is part of the camp principles around Leave No Trace and Radical Self-Reliance.
Bikes. We don’t have extra bikes for people to ride around the island. Some people bring them but we won’t be and as long as you’re relatively mobile, you should be okay.
FUN. While this event is filled with all sorts of adventures, you are the only person who can guarantee whether you’ll have fun or not. You get out what you put in.
MISC. If you have any other supplies, clothing, bedding, toiletries, and various sundries we will not be able to provide those for you.
